We are so excited about this new Memphis FCA discipleship program, designed “to present to women in the arena of athletics the privilege and challenge of learning and living out biblical womanhood in all areas of life.”

It is designed to allow adult females to share life-on-life with young female athletes in our community and teach these core values:

V.     Valor

I.      Integrity

R.     Resourcefulness

T.     Trust in God

U.     Uniqueness

O.    Obedience

U.     Unity

S.     Service

The curriculum is currently being developed, with a goal of targeted ministry to young female student-athletes in early 2012.  To make this program a success in Memphis and Shelby County, we need adult female volunteers who will get involved in one of the following ways:

·         Serve strategically on the Memphis FCA Female Ministry Committee.

·         Volunteer to meet regularly with middle or high school girls, to disciple them in aspects of biblical womanhood.

·         Pray for the ministry and participate in our regular FCA prayer time.
