Thanks to the support of our generous donors, the Memphis FCA was able to send a total of 120 local student-athletes to three different national FCA camps:
● 24 students attended FCA Leadership Camp at Belhaven College in Jackson, MS, from June 5-8.
● 51 male athletes attended FCA Boys Sports Camp at Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, NC, from June 23-27.
● 45 female athletes attended FCA Sports Camp at Baylor University in Waco, TX, from June 30-July 4.
Numerous campers from Memphis made new or renewed commitments to Christ as a result of their camp experience. Here are comments from a few of those campers:
“I just wanted to thank you for sponsoring us in this year’s FCA camp! I can’t put into writing what this camp meant to me, but I can tell you that God’s Spirit was so empowering. So many teenage lives were saved. At one of the team meetings, about 30 or 40 young men came forward and fell to their knees with tears in their eyes.
