FOOTBALL CAMP PRAISES!!

Praise God for the outstanding results from our recently-completed “Team FCA” local Football Camp, in which we partnered with 11 area churches!  A total of 17 local high school teams were full participants in the camp, where they slept, ate meals, held practices & scrimmages, heard the gospel proclaimed through exceptional speakers, participated in small group sessions, heard from local businessmen in roundtable discussions, etc.  In addition to the 17 primary teams, an additional 13 teams participated for a single day and heard a gospel presentation, followed by a 2-hour scrimmage.

Through the football camp outreach, FCA and the participating churches were able to touch over 1,700 players & coaches.  A large percentage of the athletes were from underprivileged homes and difficult family backgrounds, who would not have been able to participate in such a camp experience without FCA and our church partners.  We are thrilled to report that 99 athletes and coaches made first-time decisions for Christ, another 346 made recommitments or experienced spiritual growth, and 338 made commitments to play the upcoming season drug and alcohol-free!
